MeetingBridge can collect registration fees on your behalf. To establish the Fee Settings for your event:
Set the Fee Policy to Paid Event.
Enter the Fee Settings
General Admission. Enter the fee that you would like to collect from registrants in US Dollars.
Member's Admission. If you would like to charge a lower fee to members of a professional organization, enter the reduced rate in US Dollars. Leave Member's Admission blank if you want to collect the same amount from all registrants.
Prompt for Member Id. If you are offering a reduced rate to members and you want members to enter a id, such as a member or subscriber id, check Prompt for Member Id. Leave this box unchecked if you do not want to prompt registrants for a member id.
Member's Id Label. Enter text that you would like to use to label the Member Id. For instance, an education institution might use a label of "Student Id". An online publication might use a label of "Subscriber Id". A Professional Organization might simply use a label of "Member Id". Leave this field blank if you do not want to prompt registrants for a member id.
Tokens. The behavior of the Event's Landing Page and Registration Page can be modified by adding "Tokens" to the URL. To add a token, simply add an ampersand (&) and the token to end of the URL. For instance, imagine that you specified 'NoFee' as the Free Pass Token for your event. You could give someone a link to register for the event without being charged, by adding '&NoFee' to the Registration Page URL. So, if the Registration URL for your event is http://events.meetingbridge.com/ register/?04123456789, someone could use http://events.meetingbridge.com/ register/?04123456789&NoFee to register without being charged.
Member's Token. Specify a value that you want to use as the Member's Token. When the Member's Token is added to the Landing or Registration Page URL, visitors will see the Member's Admission fee, rather than the General Admission fee. This field is required if you entered a value for Member's Admission.
Free Pass Token. Specify a value that you want to use as the Free Pass Token. When the Free Pass Token is added to the Landing or Registration Page URL, visitors will not be prompted to enter a credit card payment.
Test Token. Specify a value that you want to use as the Test Token. When the Free Pass Token is added to the Landing or Registration Page URL, the credit card information will be processed via a test server. This feature allows you to step through the entire registration process without entering a "live" credit card. For more information on processing test transactions, see Test Credit Card Processing.
Token Rules: Tokens are case-sensitive. You may not use the same value for different tokens for the same event. For instance you may not designate "Token" as the value for both the Member's Token and the Free Pass Token.
