Register Speakers

When you are coordinating an event for other speakers, the Event Manager helps you manage communications. You can use the Add/Edit Speakers page to register speakers for your virtual events. Once you have registered speakers for your event, you can use the Event Manager to send Event Day Confirmation and Reminder emails.  You can also use the Event Manager to arrange speaker training and rehearsal sessions.  

To Add a Speaker

  1. From the Event Setup menu, select Speaker Management and then Add/Edit Speakers. If you haven't already selected an event, you will be prompted to select one.

  2. Click the Register a Speaker button.

  3. Enter the following for the speaker:

  1. Click Save.

To Edit a Speaker

  1. From the Event Setup menu, select Speaker Management and then Add/Edit Speakers.

  2. Click the Edit link for the desired speaker.

  3. Modify the speaker information, as needed.

  4. Click Save.

To View or Email the Event Day Confirmation to an speaker

The Event Management System can provide speakers with Event Day Instructions. Like the Confirmations and Reminders sent to meeting attendees, the Event Day instructions provide speakers with instructions for joining the Event. To send Event Day Instructions to a speaker:

  1. From the Event Setup menu, select Speaker Management and then Add/Edit Speakers.

  2. Click the Edit link for the desired speaker.

  3. Click the View Confirm button to preview the speaker's Event Day Instructions. Click the Email Confirm button to send the instructions to the speaker.

Customizing and automating Event Day Confirmations and Reminders. The Speakers Settings page allows you to add customized speakers' notes to the Event Day instructions. The page also lets you automate a prior day reminder email. For more information about the Speakers Settings page, click here.
